Mix-Match
Senior thesis project Mix-Match is a toy set designed to help toddlers with autism develop fine motor and cognitive skills by gradually rewarding the child through a musical matching game. The toy set has various matching blocks that each time correctly matched adds on an instrumental or vocal layer to a song they know and enjoy, gradually building it up and getting them more motivated through the matching sequence as they hear the familiar beats and tunes. By incentivizing every action and game with various favorite sounds and songs, Mix-Match engages the child throughout playtime, building their cognitive, physical, and emotional skills.
