Food for Thought is a innovative approach to designing for future health clinics with Legacy Community Health in the greater Houston area. The design features an educational structure and space that is playful, interactive, and colorful to keep kids engaged with while also learning about healthy foods and their benefits.
The space was designed in collaboration with another group of industrial design and interior architecture students, Healthy Me, whose space complemented ours through their playful structures relating to the human body's systems.
With Healthy Me focusing on physical health and Food for Thought on nutrition, the play area really took on a narrative on the importance of engaging in physical activity and how food fuels us to do so.
